Sharon M. Phillips, Psy.D.
Dr. Sharon Phillips has been a licensed clinical psychologist for 15 years and has been in private practice in West Chester for the past 9 years. In addition to providing psychotherapy, counseling, behavior management, and parent training for children, teens, and families, she is also available to conduct psychological asssessments for cognitive functioning (e.g. IQ tests), AD/HD, depression, anxiety, and other problems. Dr. Phillips works closely with families, schools, and day care centers when necessary to provide a seamless network of intervention strategies. Her specialty areas include working with parenting issues, teenage concerns, child depression and anxiety, grief and bereavement, and family therapy. Dr. Phillips also works with a small number of adults individually.
V. Sue King, LPCC-S
Sue King is a licensed professional clinical counselor and supervisor who specializes in working with adults and couples. Sue has worked for a number of years with individuals affected by pornography addiction, as well as with adults who struggle with depression and/or anxiety. She has had a great deal of training in working with couples, and offers premarital counseling as well. Sue also has a background in helping those who are working to overcome substance abuse issues.
Elaine Parulis-Wright, LISW-S
Elaine Parulis-Wright is a licensed independent social worker and supervisor who also specializes in working with children and teens. Before joining our practice, Elaine worked in private practice in both Mason and Glendale, and has worked for many years before that doing school-based counseling in Middletown and Cincinnati public schools. Elaine specializes in play therapy, and works with children and teens of all ages. She is available to do ADHD evaluations as well. Elaine is also trained as a parenting coordinator for families going through divorce.
Kay McKinney, PCC
Kay McKinney is a licensed professional clinical counselor and has been working in private practice for 7 years. She has experience with mental health issues of many kinds such as anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, self-identity, low self-esteem, cutting, eating disorders, depression, grief, abuse survivors, overcoming trauma, issues with chronic illness, family discord, parent/child relationship building, divorce recovery, pre-marital and martial counseling. Kay also has an interest in issues related to spirituality and mental health. Kay has been married for 11 years and has two children. |
